  Oxford Seminars has compiled powerful reference tools, from grammar terminology to role-playing activities and lesson planning ideas.  This manual will: introduce students to the concepts of second language acquisition and TESOL/TESL/TEFL methodologies; provide approaches to classroom management; and familiarize students with resources and strategies for securing a TESOL/TESL/TEFL position abroad.

  The Oxford Seminars’ Job Search Manual is designed to make your teaching application process go smoothly by providing you with useful guidelines and resources to accompany your Teacher Placement Service. You will learn how to: research and decide on your country of preference; write your resume and cover letter so that it is geared towards TESOL/TESL/TEFL employers; prepare for the interview process; and successfully examine and negotiate your contract details to ensure all of your needs are met.

Please Note: TESOL, TESL, and TEFL are widely interchangeable terms which essentially mean the same thing. Each of these terms is most commonly used in a different part of the world. At the end of the Oxford Seminars 60-hour in-class course, graduates receive a combined TESOL/TESL/TEFL certificate which is recognized and accepted around the world (and which includes all components of TESOL, TESL, and TEFL teacher training).
