Instructor Profile: Trevor Gulliver

I began teaching ESL in South Korea because I thought it would be a good way to see a different part of the world and make a little money. It became a lot more than that for me though. I loved the job, the culture, the food, and the language. The thing I loved most was learning new things every day. A good teacher is always learning with their students and from their students. Every day in the classroom I was learning so much and having so much fun that I couldn't believe they were paying me to be there! I completed an MA in TESOL/Applied Linguistics through the University of Leicester and I am now studying for a PhD in Education at the University of Ottawa with an emphasis on Second Language teaching.
